Webinar Outline:

In the Trauma Release Method we integrate breath practices, movement, somatic coaching and touch to work with the nervous system, pain and trauma.

The breath: an incredible tool to promote self-healing, to connect to and move past trauma, to gain clarity. The TR method is a safe, gentle, slow approach using a conscious connected breath style, along with a heavy focus on functional breathing patterns. We closely watch the movement and patterns of the breath in the body and facilitate the retraining of healthier ranges of motion in the rib cage, belly, chest and pelvis.

We work with a body-oriented approach to coaching, teaching clients how to listen to the whispers of sensation, emotions and feeling and using this to guide them to be in their bodies, aware of their interception and felt sense. By encouraging them to move, shake, push, it allows their nervous system to express what it may not have been able to in challenging times, where they may have got stuck in a fight, flight, freeze, fawn and flop response.

Therapeutic touch is an integral part of the TR method approach, focusing on gentle touch to work with neurovascular bundles, spinal nerves, heart-mind protocol (ancient Thai Medicine) and fascia using an adapted Bowen style of bodywork.

This leading-edge approach enables treatment and great flexibility around working with clients’ pain and trauma, whether that be physical, emotional or mental.

The Trauma Release Method is an accredited diploma that was developed by Natasha de Grunwald over the past 30 years in clinical practice. Her research with thousands of clients over three decades has strongly highlighted that the breath and fascia both hold memory and by working with the two together it opens up a pathway for clients to heal.

During this webinar Natasha will discuss the breath and the neuro-vascular bundles, guiding you to feel them in your own body with subtle touch and the felt sense. She will talk about the breath and working with fascia, and how she uses coaching within her sessions to bring them all together. This will be an informative and experiential session which will encourage you as practitioners to be more in your own body.
