Janet Abbott

Integrative Health Researcher | Director of Mineral Water Language | Somatic Practitioner.

For more than four decades, Janet Abbott has been a pioneer in the study of integrative health, fascia resonance, and the healing intelligence of water. Her work bridges somatic awareness with environmental wellness, exploring how the body’s subtle electric field communicates with the mineral languages of the Earth.
Janet’s practice combines site-specific massage, gentle therapeutic touch, and coherence restoration through breath and diaphragmatic balance. Since 2000, she has founded several nonprofit associations dedicated to research and education on the therapeutic use of mineral waters for drinking, soaking, steaming, and healing with clays and muds.

As Vice President and Director of Mineral Water Language for the Balneology Association of North America (BANA), Janet leads programs that investigate geothermal and mineral waters across the United States and internationally. Her fieldwork has taken her to Florida, New York, Texas, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, France, Spain, Mexico, and Cuba.

Janet’s research reveals how aquifers act as tuning forks for the planet’s electric field, mirroring the fascia’s own resonance. She teaches that mineral waters can restore coherence, balance, and harmony within both the body and the Earth.
