Webinar Outline:

As part of our Sound and Voice theme Ana Barretxeguren will host our members’ webinar on the 20th of March. We will explore the resonant core of the abdomen, delving into the dynamic interrelationships of the diaphragm, psoas, mesentery, and surrounding tissues, and how breath weaves together their structural, autonomic, emotional, and energetic intimacy.
Engage in a blend of theory and experiential practice to discover how your abdominal core can deepen your connection to your own resonance.

Presenter Bio(s):

Ana Barretxeguren

Ana Barretxeguren is a movement educator, myofascial release practitioner, and the founder of Moving Fascia®, a movement method that integrates fascia with somatics, emphasising nervous system regulation, breath, and embodiment.

With a Postgraduate Diploma in Anatomical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, Ana has spent over a decade teaching embodied anatomy to movement teachers, bridging the gap between theory and lived experience. Her work is grounded in deep research of fascia’s role in movement, perception, and wellbeing, making her a respected educator in the field.

Ana’s passion for fascia is deeply personal. Living with catamenial pneumothorax, a rare condition involving recurring lung collapses, has led her to an ongoing exploration of the visceral space and its profound connection to breath and movement, both professionally and personally.
