The festive season can be a time of joy, but it also comes with its own set of challenges which can be stressful. Yet stress isn’t always something to be avoided; it plays a crucial role in our growth, helping us develop resilience and enhancing our ability to self-regulate as we adapt to life’s demands.

Think of fascia as a great metaphor for this. Fascia has its own natural tension that keeps us adaptable and stable. The even distribution of this innate tension helps us stay responsive and balanced as we interact and relate with the environment around us.

On December 1st, Ana Barretxeguren joins the Fascia Hub to offer you a free event as a gift to our community. Join Ana for a special webinar exploring how breath can be a powerful tool for selfregulation. Discover an embodied breath practice that can help you manage and transform stress into resilience and embrace the holiday season with calm and balance.

Join Moving Fascia® creator Ana Barretxeguren for a free online event weaving fascia into breath practice.

Ana Barretxeguren will lead this year's Fascia Hub festive season webinar, exploring the multifaceted aspects of breath. The event will focus on the interdependence between breath, nervous system regulation, biochemical balance, fascial continuities and diaphragmatic relationships. Through an interactive and explorative presentation will focus on how a fascial approach to breath can positively impact well-being and restore resilience. With ample time for experiential practice Ana will guide you through an embodied breath exploration designed to stimulate self-regulation and restore whole-body breath.

Close the year with a reinvigorating exploration and leave with new tools that will replenish both your breath and your practice.

The session is designed to help you set intention and develop a plan for self-guided breath practice. For those who teach or facilitate movement, it will offer inspiration on how to integrate breath into your current modality.

Presenter Bio:

Ana Barretxeguren is the creator of Moving Fascia®, a somatic method that integrates feedback from selfrelease tools to stimulate autonomic regulation, unveil anticipatory guarding and restore dormant patterns of movement for vitality and health.

Ana has two decades of experience as a movement educator and myofascial release practitioner and holds a postgraduate diploma in anatomical sciences. Her approach is deeply influenced by her personal experience of living with Catamenial Pneumothorax - a rare condition involving repetitive lung collapses which has led her to a continuous investigation of breath and its connections to fascia and movement.

“Breath has been the epicentre of my work for as long as I can remember, and I am personally committed to its lifelong research. Each time I have a lung collapse, I am reminded that 'I am breathing.' As each breath becomes even more precious, I relearn, again and again, that I am riding the wave of life. Breath is the constant continuum.”

During the breath exploration, Ana will use the Moving Fascia® SOFT ball for added feedback and a more profound somatic experience. For those without a SOFT ball, she will offer an alternative using a rolled-up yoga mat, towel or blanket.

Our programmes include early support, after school and holiday clubs, family growing projects, AQA courses, curriculum projects, school trips and teacher training.”
