Title: Tensegrity Assisted Therapy - the magical powers of a semi-inflated ball

Webinar Outline:

Tensegrity Assisted Therapy

How to restore alignment without ‘doing the realigning’? How to improve mobility without ‘mobilizing’? How to unlock stubborn restrictions without ‘the releasing’?

Does that sound somewhat ‘magical’ and too good to be true?  -- Well, it is, and it isn’t. Achieving these simultaneous win-win-wins means solving the right kind of ‘anatomical equations’ with the right tools.

Fortunately, these tools are simple and readily available.

The sheer ‘magic’ of applying a semi-deflated viscoelastic ball and soft foam rollers using biotensegrity algorithms.

Who is it for?

This information, this webinar is for any fascia-centric clinical practice – whether you work with pain, well-being or performance.

Presenter Bios:

Leonid Blyum
I am a kinesiologist, movement scientist and developer of the ABR method. I graduated in 1992 at the University of Novosibirsk with a specialization in mathematical models of complex systems.
My studies involved the structure and the functioning of the musculoskeletal system (biomechanics), and more specifically of the spinal disorders and joint deformities. Furthermore, I worked with my father, a physician specializing in the manual treatment of these disorders. Through study and experience, I developed the belief that musculoskeletal deformities could be well treated with a quasi-static manual therapy. “Quasi-static” means with long and gentle pressure (as opposed to often powerful manipulations). From 1996 to 2000 I taught applied biomechanics and manual therapy to postgraduate doctors in Moscow. Meanwhile my personal work in the field of scoliosis and other musculoskeletal deformities proved the efficiency of the quasi-static method. My research field expanded to the rehabilitation of patients with neurological damage (usually brain damage) suffering from general motor disorders and deformities. Again results were conclusive. Our method – Advanced Biomechanical Rehabilitation – necessitates daily work. Therefore I decided to teach this technique to the parents of the CP children. ABR satellites are now operating in many countries. I lead up ABR Trainers to teach the ABR techniques to the parents and caregivers.
